How To Find Solution
What’s killing Americans at this alarming rate is our own inaction. While the opposing perspectives of the pro and anti gun control movements, there leave no clear solution but there is no excuse for inaction.

"For every great movement around the world, there's a moment where you can look back and say, 'That's when things really started to change’, For the movement to end gun violence in America, that moment is here."

What Is Keeping Us From Finding Common Ground?
Pro vs. Anti Gun Control
In wake of highly publicized cases of gun violence citizens sparked a revolution, known as the pro gun control movement. Pro gun control supporters demand a ban of assault weapons, high capacity magazines, and a drastic change in the process of legally obtaining firearms. Marches and walk outs are organized all across the country in effort to ensure government heads take responsibility for their negligence.

The anti gun control movement shares a very different perspective. According to the anti gun control perspective, the root of the gun violence issue isn’t found in any insufficient gun legislation, the problem lies in the community of the mentally unstable and our inability to adequately deal with their personality types. A controversial solution supported by the anti gun control movement is the motion to increase the population of legal gun owning citizens- specifically arming teachers who seem to be on the front lines of the relentless killing sprees.

“When we've had our say with the government — and maybe the adults have gotten used to saying 'it is what it is,' but if us students have learned anything, it's that if you don't study, you will fail. And in this case if you actively do nothing, people continually end up dead, so it's time to start doing something.”
